As well as working on the service desk you’ll also gain valuable experience visiting client sites to fix on-site issues and continue to build customer relationships.

Your Role:

• Using your experience of solving complex technical issues to resolve support tickets escalated from 1st line, and implement key changes where required.
• Working with a varity of clients with varying infrastructures to prioritise urgent support issues and manage client expectations.
• Providing both remote and on-site support to clients for Windows environments, virtualisation, networking, storage and backup solutions.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients to aid the continuous improvement of services, and escalating issues to 3rd line where necessary.

Your Profile:

• Knowledge and experience of deployment and administration of Windows environments (Active Directory, Exchange, O365, Sharepoint).
• Knowledge of Virtualisation technologies – VMware or Hyper-V.
• Networking – LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routers, Switches, firewalls.
• Experience of working with Backup (BackupExec, Veeam, Storagecraft, CommVault) and Storage solutions (NAS, SAN, DAS)
• VSS Administration experience, and knowledge of troubleshooting connectivity issues (ADSL, MPLS, Leased Line)
